Behavioral Health

At Generations Healthcare we work continuously to provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care in an effort to minimize the individual’s risk of danger to self or others. The length of stay is dependent upon the patient’s individual health skills progress for the stabilization of each patient. The treatment approach is intended to be holistic in nature addressing medical, emotional, psychological, and social needs. Our two inpatient behavioral health facilities are locked and closely supervised to assure and maximize the safety of each patient in a respectful and dignified manner. Our discharge planning helps patients determine an appropriate level of care that supports their continued treatment needs once they are ready to re-enter the community. Our professional and caring staff makes certain that patients are well equipped with valuable and applicable coping skills in order to successfully move forward with their lives.

Services are provided by Board Certified Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Licensed Psychiatric Social Workers, Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Mental Health Workers and Occupational and Activity Therapists. The multidisciplinary team collaborates with the patient (and family when appropriate) to establish focused treatment goals based on the individual needs of each patient.
