At Gramercy Court Assisted Living, we take pride in the independence of the active seniors who live in our community. In our individual memory care and assisted living units, we take a personal approach to care, customizing our programs to engage each resident, ensuring an uplifting experience for all.

Our memory care unit serves patients suffering from dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other diagnoses of mental health. We provide a secure environment for patients who tend to wander and monitor them closely to ensure their safety. Our meals and activities programs are designed to delay cognitive decline and help our residents enjoy a fulfilling life.

In our assisted living unit, our residents enjoy living in an environment akin to a senior apartment complex, rich with services and amenities. We’re here to provide assistance when needed and support them in living a satisfying, independent life.

Cognition

We provide comprehensive mental health care in an effort to minimize an individual’s risk of danger to self or others. Patient Experience

My mother-in-law, whom I was very close to, spent 8 years at Gramercy Court. She was initially placed there after a serious operation that left her with very limited mobility, unable to get up, sit up or get out of bed or stand or walk. After several months of rehab by an exceptional team, she gained back her strength and was eventually able to walk with a walker. She was able to move from the skilled nursing side of the facility to the assisted living side where she no longer shared a room, but had her own studio apartment.

She was happy there. She enjoyed the activities and entertainment made available to the residents. The exceptional staff at Gramercy Court sincerely cared about her well-being. My husband and I visited her often. The assisted living administrator, Trisa Cysewski, and the director of social services, Anita Vijay, were always responsive to any requests we made to make Mom more comfortable. Jessica, the nurse in charge, Ira, the med nurse, and Linda, the activities director, all made Mom’s stay comfortable and pleasant. My husband and I want to commend Generations Healthcare, the company that now manages Gramercy Court, for the incredible upgrades in the staffing and in the internal and external building improvements made. Mom passed away this year at age 94. The exceptional staff made her time spent there very clean and comfortable. For that, we shall be forever grateful.
